Seminar Title: 'Nuclear migration and anchorage in different mechanical environments'

Brief Description: 'Nuclear positioning drives developmental processes from fertilization to neurogenesis. I will summarize the Starr-Luxton advances from our interdisciplinary studies on C. elegans developmental models in different mechanical environments that reveal multiple regulatory strategies for nuclear movement and positioning.'

The MCB Work in Progress Seminar Series highlights research by MCB faculty, graduate students and lab personnel. Participants present their current findings, methodologies, and preliminary results. This seminar series fosters collaboration, strengthens research skills, and supports the professional growth of emerging scholars and research staff while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.
