Jessica is a first-generation college graduate who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies with a concentration in Chicanx Studies and her Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in School from CSU, Sacramento. Jessica is proud to serve as an academic advisor in the College of Biological Sciences, where she is dedicated to supporting students and guiding them throughout their educational journey. Prior to joining the BASC team, she worked at CSU, Sacramento for five years, serving as the first point of contact for both incoming and current students. She brings a strong background in student support services, including Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, and Wellness, which informs her holistic and student-centered approach to advising.
